09 Aug Asian Beef Kabobs with Baby Bok Choy and Japanese Eggplant
Mouthwatering grilled sirloin marinated in Asian flavors + with Asian vegetables make for an inspired and simple summer meal
There are very few posts on Robinsbite that don’t include a story, a recollection or at least a few words of wisdom. For this post, the pictures are going to do the talking. I will leave you with one caveat, however. I’ve been a member of the Recipe Redux since 2012 and this is the first recipe challenge I’ve ever done.
Perhaps it’s because I’m now a full fledged Texan now (25 years as a citizen). Perhaps it’s because I love an excuses to use this marinade recipe from my sister. Likely, it’s because I grew up on beef. My parents purchased a side of beef each year and many a meal were created for our family of six from those cuts of beef.
Top Sirloin is one of the leanest cuts of beef and weighs in at 150 calories and 5 grams of total fat (1.9 saturated fat)
Japanese Eggplant
Lemons
Mushrooms
Sesame Seeds

Posted at 17:30h, 12 AugustIt’s amazing how the eggplant becomes almost buttery….It was the first time my sister and my niece had ever had eggplant–now they are both believers! Love it when that happens! Thanks for pinning!
