20 Dec Recipe Redux: Easy Pizza Recipe with the Immersion Blender
Every kitchen needs an immersion blender, so it didn’t take too much time to decide on my personal favorite kitchen gadget for this month’s Recipe Redux challenge. Check out this homemade pizza recipe I whipped up with my pal Jennifer Neily, with Neily on Nutrition. The immersion blender made this already simple recipe even easier, and I won’t complain about that. If this isn’t already a part of your kitchen, tell your hubby that the immersion blender requires a lot less clean up than the traditional blender and you just might find it under the tree!
Easy Pizza Recipe:
- Roasted veggies of choice such as: Broccoli, Onions, Red Peppers/Yellow Peppers, Carrots, Zucchini, Asparagus
- Pizzettes
- Tomato Sauce
- Cheese (Sargento Pizza cheese)
- Pepperoni
- Sprinkle chopped veggies with salt, pepper and a tablespoon of olive oil.
- Roast Veggies for at 450 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
- Blend roasted veggies into tomato sauce and create your personal mini pizzette!

Posted at 20:38h, 21 DecemberCool idea for a healthy single-serve pizza sauce! I’ve got an immersion blender that I mostly use for shakes and it does a good job on pureeing frozen bananas. 🙂
